Class Attire & What to Bring – Set Yourself Up for Dance Success!

At MDT, we believe that the right attire not only helps with movement and technique but also boosts confidence and performance. To ensure a comfortable and focused dance experience, we ask all dancers to follow our studio’s class attire guidelines.

What to Wear – Dress for Success!

Comfortable, Flexible Sportswear – Choose leggings, shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, or t-shirts that allow for full movement.
Hair Pulled Back – Keep hair out of the face for focus and safety.
Correct Footwear for Class – Proper shoes support technique and prevent injury:

  • Hip-Hop: Closed-toe sneakers
  • Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics: Studio shoes available to borrow from our MDT Shoe Bin if needed
No DenimJeans and jean shorts restrict movement and are not allowed.

What to Bring – Be Prepared, Be Energized!

💧 Water Bottle – Stay hydrated! (Filtered water station available at the studio.)
🍎 Snacks – Optional for quick energy between classes.
👟 Dance Shoes – Bring the appropriate footwear for your class.
💁‍♀️ Hair Ties & Bobby Pins – Essential for keeping hair secure during movement.
A Positive Attitude! – The most important thing you can bring is energy, enthusiasm, and a love for dance!
